Date: 18 June 2010

KONSENSUS BEBAS DEMAND DATO' SERI ANWAR TO EXPOSE ALLEGED EVIDENCE

Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim claims that Konsensus Bebas Members of Parliament had been paid RM2 million by UMNO/BN to leave PKR. He also claims to have solid evidence and is waiting for the right moment to expose the evidence.

Konsensus Bebas wishes to remind Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim not to resort to politics of lies and slander. Konsensus Bebas demands Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Member of Parliament for Permatang Pauh and the Opposition Leader to have the sincerity and fortitude to expose the alleged evidence.

Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim should not use the alleged evidence as a red herring to divert the attention of the rakyat from the real issues. Konsensus Bebas is aware of the various issues he is personally facing, such as, the weaknesses of PKR, the doubts raised of his leadership, the rising popularity of the Prime Minister and of course, the on-going court case where he is facing sodomy charges.

Konsensus Bebas appeals to the rakyat to evaluate Dato Seri Anwar's political demeanour in the context of his ambition to be the Prime Minister at any cost.
